The 8080 ran at 2Mhz. there was room on board for two 2708 EPROMS (which could be disabled). One wait state could be added for EPROM reading. Interestingly there was also on board 256 bytes of RAM 2141's DIP switch addressable to any 4K boundary.Furthermore there was an 8 bit parallel input port (with status bits) for a keyboard. The CPU on power up could jump to the onboard EPROM.
